This society has a huge problem with the way people look. I used to be bullied cause I was talk and "fat". Another prime example would be my boyfriend, he applied for a job, they said they didn't hire "heavy" people. He's not even fat. I, naturally, was extremely pissed off about this. My mom also always naggs to me about being lazy and over weight. Sure, I'm lazy. But she's constantly telling me I'm fat. Like that will help me.
Sure, the USA is a pretty weighted country. But you don't have the right to labelize everyone. We all have the same insides, all the same organs. All that's different is how we look.
People need to fucking get over themselves.
People who are "Skinny" are looked at as pretty because of social media today, how "skinny" is the new norm. When I say skinny, I mean below the average weight. Or even skin color.
I am no way pointing my finger at a damn soul. I'm simply saying and supporting that everyone is beautiful No exceptions. And I'm not saying that "skinny" people are ugly. nor am I emlping that white and white or black and black couples are unfair. Just the people who disbelieve that everyone has a free chance to do whatever the FUCK they want.
That is all.
Program: Paint Tool Sai, TIME: About an hour. Maybe more. Didn't keep track. I kind of half-assed the boots. so yea :I
It's so gross seeing those women in mags, that i doubt could stand up for them selves because they don't have fat or muscle. My mom has a fast metabolism, so she's been really skinny most of her life. :/ She would get sick very often and bleed easy. It made an impression on my life.
This piece would be perfect for a project we are developing -- an online gallery for artists who have been bullied or who explore the theme of bullying in their work. It's called the You Will Rise Project. Check it out here: youwillriseproject.comand read the "Submit Work" section for details about sharing your work on our site. Thanks!
